Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Orders placed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be processed and shipped that week via 2-day freight (in most cases). For example, if the order is placed on Wednesday (before 2:00pm MST), the order will arrive on Friday. Orders taken on Thursday and later will be processed the following Monday.
Q: Will my order be sent fresh or frozen?
A: It depends on the product being ordered. Most Callicrate beef will be sent fresh, while most poultry, seafood, pork, bison, and pet food will be sent frozen. Within the descriptor for each item, it will specify whether it will be shipped fresh or frozen.
Q: If my order is being shipped fresh, how do you ensure that it arrives in good condition?
A: All of our shipments are packed with plenty of ice (dry ice and/or gel packs). Since our orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday via second-day freight, there is no reason to worry. Our fresh-cut, vacuum-packed Callicrate beef has a shelf life of 5 to 10 days (at 35 degrees F). When your order arrives, you will be able to put it in the freezer, and because it's packed air-tight, it will keep for months, until you are ready to cook it.
Q: Do you offer a money back guarantee if we are dissatisfied with the product?
A: While we are sure you will love our products, unfortunately, we do not offer a money back guarantee. What we do recommend is that you place a small order with us so that you can experience our wonderful product and exceptional service before placing a large order that you may initially feel wary about committing to. We will, however, refund the entire purchase price if your order does not arrive in a timely manner (within 3 days of shipping).
Q: What if we want to purchase a special/custom cut of beef that doesn't show up on the website?
A: There is a toll free number at the bottom of each page within our website that you may call with any questions. In many instances, there will be certain cuts that may be favorites of yours that do not show up on our list of products. Give us a call, and we will cut almost anything according to your specifications.
Q: Do you offer in-town deliveries for Colorado Springs residents?
A: We offer in-town deliveries (within the Colorado Springs city limits) for a fee of $10.00 per order. There is no delivery charge for orders of $200.00 or more. Please call our toll-free number (866-866-6328) to place order/arrange a time for delivery... Please note: If paid by credit card, an authorized signer must be available to sign the credit card receipt upon delivery.
Q: How much will it cost for shipping?
The shipping rates depend on the number of pounds shipped. After shopping our online store, and you click "Checkout," you will be asked for the “ship to” city, state, and zip code, and based on your order, the shipping rate will be given. Unlike many sites, you don’t need to provide credit card information before seeing how much your total is going to be.
